There are some healthy diet plans for all to follow during quarantine to stay healthy, but before that let me tell you some basic routine habits for quarantine.
Firstly, I will say that don't spend the whole day of the lockdown period as a routineless or a lazy day.
Try to wake up and sleep on almost at same time everyday as you prefer during your normal days.
Keep yourself well hydrated and stay active throughout the day.
Exercise for 45 minutes to one hour every day.
Now, proceeding towards the diet plan......This diet plan will ensure the nutrition and fitness, especially during the quarantine plan. This diet plan includes almost all the nutritional requirements of your body from rising up in the morning to going back to bed at night. As during this period everyone is locked in their homes, so this means less physical work as compared to our regular life so keeping that thing in mind we need to have healthy cum a lite diet plan.
Early morning meal:
It's nothing much all you can have is first of all drink a glass of water kept in copper vessel for overnight as copper has antimicrobial properties and it also helps to overcome problem of constipation. It will be really better if you will just luke warm the water and then drink it.
If you are working for weight loss then you can go for another option take your regular water , luke warm it, add some lemon juice to it and a little honey , mx it well n then drink it.
After having water next you can have is some overnight soaked almonds (approx 4-5).
Breakfast:
Now this can be of your choice, but it should be healthy, having oily or unhealthy breakfast daily cannot be good, yes but you can have such breakfast once a week for a taste change.
If you are an egg eater then i would suggest you for having 2 eggs in your breakfast with 2 slice of multigrain breads. It's completely upto you that in what form you want to have your eggs it can be boiled, or half fried or if you have any better way then go for it. With this atlast you can have some tea or coffee to boost yourself for the day.
For purely vegetarians I will suggest to have veggie sandwich and try to add try to add more greeny veggies to your sandwich have this with some tea or coffee.
Mid Meal:
Sometimes it's like you feel hungry in between the times as before lunch and after breakfast so for that small appetite I have a remedy, as it is too early for lunch so you cannt have your lunch by this time and you don't want to eat much or you will miss your lunch .
So on such times you can have something lite as a glass of juice or buttermilk or you can have 2-3 digestive biscuits or can also have a fruit (orange, apple, papaya).
This is a remedy to your short appetite and you can have your lunch after 1- 2 hrs from this meal.
Lunch:
For lunch you should have a protein rich diet and also balanced diet it should have all nutritional components.
This includes 2-3 chapattis (protein + carbs), some rice (carbs), a bowl of lentils (proteins) with some butter or clarified butter (fat), 1-2 vegetable and salad (protein +vitamin) and bowl of curd ( calcium +vitamin).
This is your complete meal for lunch.
Evening Snack:
For your evening snack you can have some smoothie, or shakes like banana shake or apple shake or mango shake or a glass of lassi
You can also go for some fruit juices to keep you refresh in evening or some vegetable juice it will be much better if you prefer to have soups for your evening snack.
Dinner:
Try to have simply a lite dinner , especially if you are a night person, this means you have a habbit to work at night mainly, in such case if you will have a full up tummy filled with food you will feel sleepy and will not be able to concentrate.
So for dinner all you can have is a vegetable stew with 2 chapattis or with some rice or you can just have a veggie pulao as your night meal.
Post Dinner:
Do not go to bed just after your dinner, better have a walk inside your gallery or garden or balcony or on roof so that you can digest your meal easily.
Have a glass of luke warm milk with a pinch of turmeric powder into it , this will be healthy for your gut and turmeric is an antidepressant agent also.
Try to have small but frequent meals. This will ensure your blood glucose and metabolism stays stable and gives your body enough energy from time to time to support your immunity.
